These terms govern the use of the CarSalePro platform for matching independent vehicle reports.
CarSalePro matches jobs between clients and independent inspectors. CarSalePro does not produce reports itself and is not a party to the report.
CarSalePro retains a platform fee of 20 percent from each completed job. 80 percent is paid out to the inspector.
The following applies to cancellations:
CarSalePro acts only as an intermediary. It is not a party to the inspection, does not perform the inspection, and does not supervise how it is performed. CarSalePro accepts no liability for the content or accuracy of a report; that liability rests with the inspector who made it. Liability for intent, gross negligence, and for damage to life, body, and health remains unaffected.
Reports can contain photographs of the vehicle registration document, and a published advert shows the report to anyone who opens it. The app gives the inspector an editor to cover personal data on a photograph before the report is finished. We are not liable for personal data left visible in a published report, nor for what happens to a report after it has been passed on.
Inspectors work independently and are not in an employment relationship with CarSalePro. The payout is compensation, not a salary. CarSalePro does not give instructions on the content of a report.
In line with the EU Platform Work Directive, status, compensation, and contract terms are presented transparently. Bogus self-employment is excluded.
Disputes about the conduct of an inspection are handled via the internal dispute procedure. Consumers can also use the EU platform for online dispute resolution.
